Terms of Service and Conditions For Art Commission Purchase ("Terms")

Welcome to Lola Dotz's commission site. These are my terms of service and conditions that are expected to be followed when requesting a commission, during the waiting period of said commission, cooperation with the artist, payment and refunding, and at the end when the commissioner receives their product. Please read thoroughly and respect the terms of my services. If you purchase a commission, you may take the "Critique" survey (link found on 'HOME' page) and give requests for changes in the Terms of Service and Conditions. The artist reserves the right to deny any and all requests given for changes in the Terms of Service, but all requests for changes are considered.

Request Denial

The artist reserves the right to deny any and all commission requests that contain the following:

NSFW
- (Read 'Acceptable Commission Requests')
Promotional Drug Abuse
Blasphemy
- Most other cursing is accepted
Religion
- Depiction of other cultures is accepted
Politics
Promotional LGBTQ
- Asexuality and Heterosexuality is accepted in promotion pieces. I do not 'hate' LGBTQ, I choose to not be a part of the controversy in light of my Religious freedoms. In no way do I deny general service to LGBTQ advocates or members.
Gore

Acceptable Commission Requests (NSFW)

Payment Terms & Invoicing

An NSFW (not-safe-for-work) commission is acceptable. It is accessible through discreet request and mostly private art display and can easily be denied if commissioner is uncomfortable or otherwise. Commissions deemed NSFW can only either be sketches, flat color, shaded line-art, or on reference sheets. Any, and all NSFW commission requests that are animations or digital paintings will be denied. NSFW commissions may not promote any agenda or lawfully inappropriate fetishes. NSFW commissions are available for displaying a body singularly. These include, but are not limited to: pin-ups, posing, underwear shots, etc. Full nudity of genitalia will be denied.

Gore is considered NSFW , and the commissioner has the right to deny any gore-related request. The trend "Candy Gore" is acceptable. Heavily violent pieces, or art in which there is fighting and guns are accepted and do not have to be labeled by an anonymous commissioner.

Payment is handled through PayPal Invoice. Once the artist has communicated with the commissioner, and the artist and commissioner have come to an agreement, the artist will then send an invoice via PayPal to the commissioner.

Invoices have a 40 hour time period. Unless the commissioner explicitly tells the artist that they will not be able to pay the invoice within the 40 hour time period, the commission will be dropped and an email/note/PM will be sent to the commissioner.

The artist must be paid before sketching. If the commissioner doesn't want the commission to continue, the commissioner has the right to keep the sketch that had been completed, and will receive a partial refund. The sketch will include a watermark to protect the artist's work from redistribution. The only applicable commission type for this term is 'simple sketch.' The artist will not apply these terms once the commission is past the point of 'simple sketch.'

Payment will be in USD (United States Dollars), and must be paid in the proper amount in USD. When using PayPal, any currency can be transferred into USD, however, commissioner must be prepared to pay in full the amount required for their commission. Depending on what currency you use, you may pay more in your currency in order to pay the proper amount in USD.

Before sending a message to the artist, please consider the pricing and make sure you can pay. Commissions that are non-affordable will be dropped and the commissioner will receive an email/PM/or Note that your commission was dropped.

Refunding

Commissioners will only be refunded if the artist has dropped the commission due to lack of time, emergency, or other affairs that prevent the artist from finishing the commission that in no way was influenced by the commissioner. Also, the artwork, if any, will not be deleted in this circumstance, and the commissioner has the right to keep whatever has been completed.

Commissioners will not be refunded if they themselves drop the commission.

Commissioners will not be refunded if the artist drops the commission due to the artist feeling disrespected, harassed, threatened, or incredibly uncomfortable intentionally. Commissioners will not have the right to keep what is finished, including the sketch in this circumstance.

Privacy Protection & Sharing

Commissioner emails and information will be protected and will not be shared with others. Usernames for different sites (e.g. FIMFiction, DeviantART) will be shared publicly with their commission card on Trello unless the commissioner has explicitly requested to remain anonymous and request privacy, or they have a NSFW commission. Commissioners also reserve the right to request that there commission not be shared.

Commissions are not allowed to be shared in association with the artist publicly on the following sites:

Facebook
Derpibooru
Fur-Affinity.net

Commissioners can share their product privately on Facebook and publicly on other said sites so long as 'Lola Dotz,' 'Lola Ditz,' or 'Alexis Crenshaw' are not displayed. All other sites may have artist association with public posts.

Terms of Service and Conditions must be read thoroughly and understood before purchase of a commission. If a commission requested violates the Terms of Service and Conditions, the commission will be dropped immediately. To avoid this, please contact me with any questions you may have.
